Tawhid of Worship
Tawhid of worship means directing every act of worship to Allah alone: prayer, supplication, sacrifice, reliance, fear, hope, love and every other act of devotion.

The central meaning
No act of worship is directed to anyone besides Allah.

Supplication is worship
A believer asks Allah for what only Allah can give and does not turn acts of devotion to created beings.

The testimony of faith
“There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah” contains rejection of false worship and affirmation of worship for Allah alone.

Practice
Review the acts of the heart as carefully as visible rituals: reliance, fear, hope and love all need Tawhid.
